Job summary

Valor 3 Services, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Program Engineer – Systems Integration & Risk Management to support a Department of Energy national security modernization program in Albuquerque. You will provide engineering and programmatic support to Federal leadership, oversee complex initiatives, and collaborate with government, labs, production sites, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Active DOE Q Clearance or DOE Top Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management experience.
• Experience with large, technically complex government or national security programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, technical integration, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical advisory support to Federal Program Managers and senior government leadership.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple organizations to ensure successful execution of program objectives.
• Support systems engineering including requirements management, interface coordination, technical integration, and risk management.
• Assist with development and maintenance of integrated program schedules, milestones, and technical baselines.
• Evaluate technical issues and recommend solutions that support cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Participate in IPT meetings and other technical working groups.
• Prepare technical briefings, reports, presentations, and executive documentation.
• Track technical risks, action items, and program decisions while supporting mitigation planning.
• Analyze program data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
