Job summary

Valor 3 Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Program Engineer – Systems Integration & Risk Management to support a DOE national security modernization program. This role provides engineering and programmatic support to Federal leadership overseeing complex initiatives across government laboratories, production sites, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering, systems integration, or program management, a Bachelor's degree, and an active DOE Q or Top Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Degrees in Program Management, Project Management, Business, or similar disciplines may be considered with significant directly related experience.
• Active DOE Q Clearance or DOE Top Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management experience.
• Experience supporting large, technically complex government or national security programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, technical integration, and engineering lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical advisory support to Federal Program Managers and senior government leadership.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple organizations to ensure successful execution of program objectives.
• Support systems engineering efforts including requirements management, interface coordination, technical integration, and risk management.
• Assist with development and maintenance of integrated program schedules, milestones, and technical baselines.
• Evaluate technical issues and recommend practical solutions that support cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Participate in IPT meetings and other technical working groups.
• Prepare technical briefings, reports, presentations, and executive-level documentation.
• Track technical risks, action items, and program decisions while supporting mitigation planning.
• Analyze program data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support strategic planning activities involving production capability, resource planning, and program execution.
• Collaborate with Federal personnel, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and program integration.
• Perform additional technical and program support activities as assigned.
