Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico seeks an experienced Engineering, Systems Integration and Implementation Professional for onsite duties focused on safety, health, and environmental integration across facilities projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience and the ability to obtain a DOE Q-level clearance, with a preferred master’s degree and relevant certifications. Relocation and strong benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, STEM, or related field with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
• Master's degree with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Professional certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, PMP) desired.
• Knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and 1926 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and technical projects to ensure ES&H integration.
• Develop trust-based relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide technical support to facilities projects for compliance with rules and procedures.
• Assist in planning and executing projects and apply technical knowledge to objectives.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Negotiate with customers on requirements and limitations.
• Report status of cost, schedule, and performance to management and customers.
• Deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Conduct postmortems to capture lessons learned for future projects.
• Apply systems engineering principles including modeling, simulation, and integrated analysis.
