Job summary

POND IoT is hiring a hands-on Senior Network Engineer who will own end-to-end design, deployment, and operations of MVNA/MVNO core network components. This role blends network engineering with solution architecture and requires in-office collaboration.

You will work with cloud networking, MVNO architectures, interconnects, and partners, ensuring high performance, security, and reliable connectivity for IoT customers.

Qualifications

• Strong core network engineering experience (TCP/IP, routing, BGP, NAT, QoS).
• Proven hands-on cloud networking experience.
• Deep MVNO/MVNA network architecture and operations knowledge.
• Ability to independently design and manage telecom-grade network systems.
• 5+ years of experience in telecom/MVNO/MNO network engineering.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in-office full-time.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage MVNA/MVNO core network infrastructure and interconnections.
• Build and manage secure VPN tunnels for enterprise and carrier connectivity.
• Configure and operate networking (Transit Gateway, VPCs, Direct Connect, route tables, IAM).
• Integrate with carrier partners, ensuring SLA delivery and traffic routing.
• Design and manage BGP and routing protocols across cloud and colo networks.
• Lead customer solution architecture translating IoT requirements into scalable designs.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and automation for network health and security.
• Document designs, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
