Job summary

Avangrid is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Specialist to define, maintain, and support OSG infrastructure policies, standards, and security controls for critical SCADA systems. You will work with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable, secure operations in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities include leading change management, regulatory compliance (NERC/CIP), and technical mentoring. The role requires 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience and a technical BS/BA (MS preferred).

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, CS or technical discipline; MS preferred.
• 7+ years’ infrastructure experience in an enterprise environment.
• AS/BS/MS degree combinations with years of experience allowed per FLSA exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to incidents, tasks, and requests to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to design and support solutions.
• Plan and implement changes to improve the environment and projects.
• Maintain infrastructure technologies per change management process.
• Lead implementation plans for infrastructure technologies.
• Evaluate, select, and test hardware and software products.
• Maintain regulatory compliance under NERC/CIP guidelines.
• Ensure strong security controls around SCADA systems.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
• Mentor team members.
