Job summary

Tyler Pipe and Coupling seeks a Controller to lead accounting, credit, and IT functions within a manufacturing setting. You will partner with factory leadership to develop financial strategies, monitor risk, and ensure policy compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic business partnership, strong ethics, and adaptability across operations and product lines. You will mentor teams and collaborate with senior leadership and McWane Corporate on policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Progressive experience in accounting, finance, or related functions, including leading and developing a finance or accounting team.
• Experience leading a finance function; manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, financial controls, and compliance.
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable insights and partner with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and track financial plans, forecasts, and proforma models for divisional units.
• Oversee working capital, cash flow, investment, inventory, and asset management.
• Evaluate ROI for capital projects and support major strategic investments.
• Utilize predictive models and activity-based analyses for business decisions.
• Lead the finance and accounting department including reporting, closings, payroll, A/P, A/R, revenue recognition, and treasury.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors.
