Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Staff Accountant to own the month-end close, manage the Tyler Technologies platform, and support financial planning. This onsite, 2-month assignment focuses on accurate reporting and process improvements within a small accounting team.

You will lead reconciliations, prepare statements, and collaborate with the Association’s outside accountant to strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare financial statements.
• Administer the Tyler Technologies financial platform, maintain data accuracy, and train staff on system procedures.
• Analyze budget-to-actual results, cash flow, and reserve funds to support decisions.
• Oversee accounting, accounts payable, and administrative support staff.
• Prepare financial reports and board materials, explain variances, and support planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire month-end closing process with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Operate and troubleshoot the Tyler Technologies platform and train staff on procedures.
• Analyze variances, cash flow, and spending trends to guide financial planning.
• Supervise office personnel responsible for accounting, A/P, and admin support.
• Coordinate with the outside accountant and improve internal processes.
