Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Customer-Site Equipment Reliability Technologist to ensure production lines run without interruption.

You will handle installation prep, PMs, troubleshooting, and repairs across hardware, software, and networking, traveling domestically about 20–30% of the time. You’ll own on-site service, diagnose issues with manuals and checklists, document downtime and labor, and keep parts moving by expediting replacements.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 6–10 years of related work experience; semiconductor industry background strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with knowledge of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site service: perform contracted preventive and unscheduled maintenance, installations, and start-ups at customer facilities or service center.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using manuals and protocols; resolve or escalate appropriately.
• Document PMs, downtime, issues, and labor in customer systems; produce supporting reports.
• Order and expedite components; notify customers and leadership when full product replacement is needed.
• Install CMP tool components and prepare equipment for power-on under direction.
• Serve as primary customer contact for technical questions; provide operational guidance.
• Guide and mentor Field Service Technicians I–III; support service center operations.
