Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Laurinburg/Maxton NC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate process equipment, follow Quality Plans, collect data, and help with preventive maintenance and warehousing tasks.

Safety is embedded in our culture, and you may contribute to site safety initiatives and field-related activities as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, comfort with technology (Outlook, Excel, Word), and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• WMS and SAP/ERP system experience
• Associate degree or two-year trade degree preferred
• Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S is a plus
• Forklift operation experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Run a variety of process equipment while adhering to safety policies
• Ensure compliance with Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records
• Support preventative maintenance and repair efforts
• Lead or support a safety program to enhance site safety
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, computers, iPads)
• Potentially perform field management activities (scouting, field maintenance, planning)
• Assist with harvest activities (preparation, seed sampling, truck unloading)
• Other duties as assigned
