Job summary

Allied Universal in Illinois is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.

The Shift Security Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Must be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License with 1 year driving experience and clean record.
• May be required to pass a background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities
