Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed, while maintaining strong client service.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and two years of related experience, with a focus on supervisory practices, security operations, and effective communication across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in retail preferred.
• May be required to hold security officer licenses per state.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites; ensure post orders are followed and reports filed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; document coaching actions and disciplinary actions.
• Train Officers; review post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports; inspect posts and outline tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Carry out supervisory duties: interviewing, orienting, training, directing work, coaching, appraising, rewarding, and disciplining employees.
