Job summary

Ahtna Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Lead to act as the primary front-line security officer responsible for emergencies and site safety. You will enforce contract requirements and oversee guard activities, with emphasis on timely reporting and post leadership.

The role requires a valid state guard card and fluent English, plus experience in security operations, scheduling, and training records maintenance. Expect standard site hours and shift coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Armed security license or equivalent required (state).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical exam.
• Valid driver’s license present.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of essential duties and responsibilities.
• Provide guard briefings to incoming officers on current activities.
• Visit and inspect each guard post within two hours of shift start and document.
• Respond to incidents and direct guard response activities.
• Ensure timely, accurate reports and logs for contract and client needs.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage at all sites.
• Monitor HR compliance, safety policies, and training records.
• Assist with mentoring and training of Guards on procedures.
