Job summary

NANA Management Services seeks an on-site Security Officer in Alaska to protect personnel and property. You will monitor areas, de-escalate conflicts, inspect access points and document incidents in accordance with policy.

You may issue IDs and rotate duties as required to support client sites. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an Alaska Guard License before starting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years in security, law enforcement or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Must be able to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas and ensure safety and security.
• De-escalate situations to protect people and property.
• Inspect doors, windows and systems to verify security.
• Report incidents and maintain records per policy.
• Notify supervisors of visitors and coordinate responses to emergencies.
• Possible issuance of ID badges and rotation of duties as needed.
• Work in a fast paced retail environment with standing shifts.
