Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to join the IT Department's Infrastructure Team. This full-time, in-person role supports network, server, and telecom systems, including Mitel VoIP, and provides server and data center infrastructure support.

Responsibilities include administering accounts and file shares, backups, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documenting systems, while collaborating across IT to deliver projects and cross-departmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or commensurate years of experience.
• At least five years of experience in the IT field.
• Solid understanding of networking, server, telecom, and computer technology fundamentals.
• Experience administering Windows-based server hardware, operating systems, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks (account and file share administration, data backup/restore tasks, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Proactively monitor and maintain technology systems
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement projects and solve cross-departmental challenges
• Configure, test, and install network, server, and telecom hardware and software
