Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks an Infrastructure Specialist to join the IT Department. This full-time, in-person role supports the Network, Server, and Telecom infrastructure, including on-premises Mitel VoIP and data centers. Salary ranges from $60,210 to $100,552 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.

The IS acts as a junior administrator, collaborating with network and server teams to implement projects and solve cross-departmental challenges.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or commensurate experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in the IT field.
• Solid understanding of networking, server, telecom, and computer fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting network, server, and telecom issues.
• Experience using management tools to monitor and maintain systems.
• Experience administering Windows-based server hardware, OS and apps.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support network technologies (switches, wireless, firewalls).
• Manage server technologies (physical/virtual servers and server apps).
• Support telecommunications (Mitel VoIP, two-way radio, POTS).
• Perform system administration tasks (account, file shares, backups).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Create and maintain documentation.
