Job summary

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Safety and Training Advisor to provide safety leadership on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with site-specific and federal/state/local requirements while guiding crews and subcontractors in safe practices. You will develop training, investigate incidents, perform safety audits, and coordinate with customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Safety-related degree required.
• Experience in heavy construction preferred and safety-focused.
• 1–5 years of safety-related work experience.
• Certifications in Occupational Safety, OSHA 500, First Aid, CPR.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Ability to recognize hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Familiar with PPE, fall protection, confined space, scaffolding, crane/rigging.
• Excellent time management, detail orientation, and communication.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety oversight during construction operations.
• Provides site-specific safety training for employees and subcontractors.
• Documents safety violations or unsafe conditions.
• Corrects hazards promptly and tracks actions taken.
• Attends project safety meetings with subcontractors and teams.
• Completes all required reporting in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with customers and outside agencies as needed.
• Educates personnel on regulatory and company requirements.
• Conducts incident investigations and supports treatment when needed.
• Conducts EHS audits to ensure compliance.
• Communicates safety practices to project management and supervision.
