Zusammenfassung

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC (dba QUES) seeks a Director of Safety to own safety standards, design programs, and drive field observation quality across multiple regions. You will own corrective actions end-to-end, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and client prequalification requirements.

You will collaborate with Training to align curriculum, lead a safety leadership team, and regularly visit job sites to reinforce standards.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated field credibility in construction.
• 10 years of progressive safety experience across multiple crews or regions.
• Degree may substitute for up to 5 years of safety experience; not required.
• Demonstrated credibility with field crews—the primary qualification.
• Utility construction, line, or civil field experience.
• Safety leadership in a multi-region construction environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910.269, 1926 Subpart V, NFPA 70E, and DOT/FMCSA.
• Experience owning corrective action to verified closure.
• Ability to communicate clearly with operations leadership and field personnel.
• Understanding of environmental rules and regulations.
• Computer proficiency (email, MS Office, safety management systems).

Aufgaben

• Own safety standards, policies, and program design across all operating regions.
• Own the field observation program design, quality, and integrity with monthly audits.
• Manage corrective action lifecycle end-to-end with owners and due dates.
• Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis and support post-incident responses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA 1910.269, 1926 Subpart V, NFPA 70E, and DOT/FMCSA.
• Manage safety standing in ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce; represent safety at client meetings.
• Collaborate with Training to define curriculum scope and competency standards.
• Lead the Curriculum Review Board and translation of themes into training material.
• Ensure field safety presence with regular job site visits and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable the safety management team.
