Job summary

Rosendin, a leading employee-owned electrical contractor, seeks an HSE Specialist I to support health, safety, and environmental programs on active construction sites across the region. This entry-level, field-based role collaborates with internal teams, regulators, and client representatives to promote a safe work environment.

You will assist in site inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations, training and compliance documentation while contributing to audits, safety

Qualifications

• Requires 4 Year related degree or equivalent experience with HS diploma and 4+ years related experience.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, STS-C preferred/certifications.
• Must spend 80% of time on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain relationships.
• Support and promote safety programs and incident prevention initiatives.
• Assist in implementing project-based safety programs aligned with goals.
• Contribute to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Deliver safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Develop and review job hazard analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Support investigations of incidents and near-misses and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
• Promote HSE goals across projects for safe, productive environments.
• Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
• Provide input for audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
• Maintain required reports and documentation to meet standards.
