Job summary

ERM is hiring Site Safety Supervisors to provide on-site safety leadership for a key manufacturing client in Allentown, PA. You will lead a safety team, ensure health and safety compliance, and oversee site activities throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years of construction experience with heavy equipment, relevant certifications (BCSP/OSHA), and knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with heavy equipment and supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• BCSP CSP/CHST or OSHA safety certifications required.
• Thorough knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety team for construction activities and enforce site safety plans.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for heavy machinery and lifting operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain essential safety records.
• Provide training/orientation on safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, fall protection).
• Coordinate with project managers and inspectors to promote safety culture.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related degree
