Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead the environmental, health, safety, and security programs at our Hedrick, IA facility. You will partner with site leadership, employees, contractors, and visitors to build a strong safety culture, manage incidents, and ensure compliance across records, permits, and training.

The role is on-site, with relocation assistance offered. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing/operations, agriculture, training, or safety related experience or education.
• Valid driver's license with ability to drive a company vehicle when needed.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to speak in front of groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, health, environmental, and security programs at the site.
• Lead safety culture with site leadership, employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Identify, resolve, and document unsafe acts and conditions through line walks, audits, and risk assessments.
• Manage EHS incidents with proper investigation and follow-up.
• Ensure safety training for full-time and contingent workers, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Execute EHS continuous improvement to reduce risk and prevent events.
• Engage with EHS teams and stakeholders to implement programs and projects.
• Develop and manage the annual site safety budget.
• Lead and develop Safety and Training Technicians.
