Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Safety Lead to champion both operational safety and customer service on-site in Utah. The role balances proactive safety leadership with high-level client interactions to ensure employees return home safely while customers and contractors receive world-class service.

Responsibilities include MSHA compliance, safety walks, incident investigations, orientation for workers, and coordinating with central dispatch to optimize unloading and site operations.

Qualifications

• MSHA safety regulations knowledge required.
• Experience in construction/heavy building materials preferred.
• ACI Field Testing Level I Certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety walks and inspections to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate site safety orientations for new hires, contractors and visitors.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and haulage contractors, resolving issues with professionalism.
• Facilitate and organize on-site safety meetings and maintain PPE and firefighting equipment.
