Martin Marietta seeks a Safety Lead to balance operational safety with exceptional on-site customer service. You will represent the company to customers, contractors, and vendors while ensuring safe performance across all site activities.

Responsibilities include MSHA adherence, incident investigations, safety walks, and developing procedures to improve safety and efficiency for asphalt/industrial operations. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• ACI Field Testing Level I Certification preferred.
• 1+ years of construction/heavy materials experience required; 2+ years aggregate preferred.
• Strong safety and MSHA knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure site-wide adherence to MSHA and internal safety standards.
• Conduct daily safety walks and inspections to identify hazards.
• Lead investigation of near-misses or incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee safety equipment and PPE maintenance.
• Facilitate site safety orientations for new hires and visitors.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and haulage contractors with professionalism.
• Bridge sales and site operations to update customers on availability and loading times.
• Gather customer feedback to drive continuous safety improvements.
