United Alliance Services, a full-service occupational health and safety consulting firm, seeks a Safety Professional to conduct on-site assessments, training, and policy development across construction, maritime, and general industries in New England.

In this full-time role based on-site, you will investigate incidents, prepare reports, and collaborate with client teams to reduce risk while staying current with regulatory standards. Strong communication and credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles across construction, maritime, and general industry.
• Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including development and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver Safety Training, including OSHA outreach courses and other regulatory or client-specific training sessions.
• Hands-on experience in Accident Investigation, incident analysis, and preparation of corrective action recommendations.
• Familiarity with insurance loss control, compliance auditing, and risk assessment practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple client engagements on-site.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP, or OSHA outreach trainer) are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance audits for clients in construction, maritime, and general industry.
• Deliver safety training programs and support OSHA outreach initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare clear, accurate reports for client management.
• Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with insurers and brokers when needed and stay current on regulations and standards.
