A nationwide safety consulting firm is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to provide safety oversight on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in construction safety, along with OSHA 30 Hour Training and OSHA 510 certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a proactive safety culture are essential. This role involves monitoring site safety compliance, conducting training sessions, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures across the site operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience with a track record of success on complex projects.
• OSHA 30 Hour Training required.
• OSHA 510 certification required.
• OSHA 500 Trainer preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enforce health and safety policies that build a safe jobsite environment.
• Track safety compliance, document findings, and communicate updates.
• Spot risks early and recommend solutions.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
• Maintain regular on-site presence and provide proactive safety guidance.
• Verify that all work follows approved manuals and contract requirements.
• Keep accurate logs of inspections and safety correspondence.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure EHS requirements are met.
• Conduct investigations for accidents and follow through on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture: Prepare and enforce health and safety policies that build a safe, proactive jobsite environment.

• Identify & Solve Hazards: Spot risks early, recommend solutions, and ensure preventive measures are put in place.

• Support the Project: Contribute to additional safety initiatives and requirements as needed.
