August Roofing & Solar is hiring a Site Supervisor in Simi Valley/Oxnard, CA. The role combines customer service with on-site supervision for roofing and solar projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, project management or site supervision preferred.
• Strong customer service, clear and respectful communication.
• Ability to read project plans and enforce safety/OSHA standards.
• Tech-friendly with CRM, photo documentation apps, and MS Office/Teams.
• Highly organized and dependable with multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; no DUI within 5 years.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs to deliver materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact, welcoming homeowners and providing daily updates on progress and next steps.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful jobsite, assisting with basic clean-up and hands-on support.
• Lead and oversee crews, managing workflow and keeping projects on schedule.
• Ensure top-quality workmanship, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact the customer.
• Coordinate logistics, including scheduling deliveries, managing equipment, and transporting materials as needed.
• Document project milestones with photos and notes, guiding customers through final walkthrough and completion.
• Support business growth by canvassing nearby homes to notify neighbors of upcoming work and generating new appointments (with incentives).
