Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Robotics Engineer to support automation projects for a leading systems integrator in Spartanburg, SC. You will develop, program, test, and commission industrial robotic systems across the full project lifecycle, from concept through startup.

You will collaborate closely with controls and integration teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance automated manufacturing solutions. This on‑site contract role runs through December, with strong potential for extension based on

Qualifications

Experience programming industrial robots in manufacturing.
Fanuc robot programming from scratch.
Experience with FAT/SAT and startup activities.

Responsibilities

Program and configure industrial robots for automated manufacturing applications.
Support robotic system development through offline programming and testing.
Participate in FAT and SAT to validate robotic systems against requirements.
Troubleshoot and optimize robotic systems during commissioning and startup.
Collaborate with controls engineers and integration teams for seamless operation.
Assist with field startup activities and extended installation hours.
