Corning, Inc. is seeking an automation-focused professional to provide robotic and automation support for production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with Fanuc robots, vision systems, and peripheral devices; contribute to developing new processes on existing lines and on new lines as needed. The role requires hands-on problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 0-5 years of experience supporting electrical and control systems (internship ok).
• Technically curious and eager to learn new automation technologies.
• Understanding of electrical design practices, PLCs, control systems, robotic integration.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, diagnose and resolve equipment issues; support process and equipment improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance to understand problems and provide solutions.
• Adhere to plant electrical controls standards and manage changes when resolving problems.
• Capable of executing assignments in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.
• Work 8 hour day shift Monday–Friday with flex hours to meet plant objectives.
