Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking Field Repair Technicians to troubleshoot, test, and repair our Atlas humanoid robots at the RMAC. You will perform complex mechanical repairs, diagnose power and sensor issues, and ensure peak uptime during testing cycles.

The role blends hands-on assembly with electronics, requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and Linux-based tooling. Travel up to 10% to the Boston area for training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with mechanical assembly and teardown.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on humanoid robots.
• Diagnostic testing of power, sensors and comms using meters and scopes.
• Linux-based system checks and scripting for health verification.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to maximize uptime.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory for repair tasks.
• Travel up to 10% for training in the Boston area.
