Job summary

Boston Dynamics, Inc. is seeking Field Repair Technicians to troubleshoot, test, and repair Atlas humanoid robots at the RMAC. You will perform mechanical assembly and precision electrical work to keep robots operating through demanding test cycles.

The role requires experience with mechanical teardown, electrical testing, and Linux-based diagnostics. A shift-based schedule with travel to the Boston area for training is included, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly and teardowns experience
• Reading schematics and using a multimeter for testing
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and BOMs
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on humanoid robots
• Use tools and torque wrenches to meet tolerances
• Diagnose power, sensor, and bus issues with test equipment
• Run system checks in Linux using BASH scripts and Python routines
• Collaborate with engineering, software and operations to maximize uptime
• Maintain parts inventory and track consumption for readiness
