Job summary

EASTERN NEPHROLOGY ASSOCIATES, PLLC in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-site position. The RN will deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients and support medical providers with individualized care plans.

Applicants must hold an active NC RN license, a nursing degree (ADN/ASN/BSN), CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license. Strong documentation in EMR, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork are essential to high-quality care.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN, BSN); active RN license in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing, and 2 years experience or a combination of education and experience.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Develop and implement nursing care plans for adult and geriatric patients.
Perform Chronic Care Management activities and assist with patient intake.
Obtain and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight.
Review and document patient allergies, medications, and any over-the-counter drugs in the EMR system.
Clinical Documentation: document patient interactions, changes in care interventions, and communication with external providers in the EMR.
Maintain medical records with updates on triage, referrals, and prescription refill requests.
Assist with patient inquiries, hospital calls, lab and test results, and prescription refills as needed.
