Job summary

Eastern Nephrology Associates, PLLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time, on-site role in Morehead City, NC. The LPN provides direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborates with physicians and the nephrology team to deliver safe, timely care.

Qualifications

• Degree or Certification for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and 2 years clinical experience.
• Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina/South Carolina
• Nephrology experience preferred
• Current BLS or ACLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for clinical evaluation with chart review and initial assessment.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weight, allergies, and medications in the EMR.
• Perform lab procedures within scope, including fingerstick HGB and stool card interpretation after certification.
• Educate patients and complete referrals as directed by the provider.
• Maintain accurate documentation of communication, interventions, and follow-up care in the EMR.
