Job summary

Disaster Recovery Services, Ltd. seeks an Estimator for the Youngstown-Warren area to visit damaged properties, assess fire, water, storm, and mold damage, and prepare accurate, itemized restoration estimates.

You will measure areas, document findings, and create proposals using estimating software, coordinating with project managers, field technicians, and insurance adjusters. Maintain thorough records, photos, and reports; monitor progress against estimates; ensure proposals meet company

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for measurements and cost calculation.
• Experience with estimating or construction management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of restoration practices, building materials and industry standards for fire, water, storm, and mold damage.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients, team members and insurance representatives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to Youngstown-Warren area and surroundings.
• Ability to work safely on active job sites, including stairs, uneven surfaces, and basic inspection tools.
• Previous experience in estimating, construction or restoration is beneficial; industry certifications and familiarity with insurance claim processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit damaged residential and commercial properties to assess scope of damage.
• Measure and document affected areas and create itemized estimates.
