Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator with project management experience and Xactimate expertise in Northeast Ohio. The role involves onsite inspections, managing estimates and projects, and coordinating with insurers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely, quality restoration.

You will oversee timelines, budgets, change orders, and invoicing while ensuring compliance and excellent customer service during the repair process.

Qualifications

• Xactimate estimating experience required.
• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• 2+ years of restoration industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and restoration processes.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams of subcontractors and ensuring on-time, on-budget completion.
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections and prepare precise Xactimate estimates per guidelines and IICRC standards.
• Manage the jobs you estimate to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality restoration.
• Document clear job site photos and project reports.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and subcontractor scheduling.
• Review and submit change orders, supplements, and final invoicing details.
• Provide excellent customer service and guide homeowners/business owners through the repair and payment process.
• Ensure all permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are met.

• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and damage restoration processes.
• Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams of subcontractors and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
