Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd in New York, NY, seeks a Junior Project Manager to turn restaurant location plans into ready-to-open spaces. You’ll work with designers, contractors and suppliers, keep timelines moving, and help coordinate equipment and furnishings for openings.

You’ll gain hands-on experience on-site, review plans, attend progress meetings, and spot issues early to keep projects on track. Ideal for someone with construction or project coordination background eager to grow in restaurant

Qualifications

• Background in construction, project coordination, development or a related field.
• A degree in construction, engineering, architecture, facilities or a related field is a plus.
• You can read plans, drawings and project documents.
• Naturally organized and good at keeping many moving pieces under control.
• A confident communicator who chases updates when something is holding things up.
• Curious, practical and keen to learn.
• You don’t mind getting out of the office and getting stuck in on-site.

Responsibilities

• Help keep restaurant projects moving from planning to opening day.
• Work with contractors, architects, designers and suppliers to align everyone.
• Coordinate equipment, furniture, millwork and other project needs.
• Attend site meetings and progress checks.
• Review plans and drawings to ensure important details are captured.
• Track budgets, invoices and changes to keep the project running smoothly.
• Assist with final inspections and getting the restaurant ready for opening.
• Spot potential issues early and help resolve them.
