Job summary

Qualifications

• Background in construction, project coordination, development or a related field.
• A degree in construction, engineering, architecture, facilities or a related field is a plus.
• You can read plans, drawings and project documents.
• Naturally organized and good at keeping many moving pieces under control.
• A confident communicator who chases updates when something is holding things up.
• Curious, practical and keen to learn.
• You don’t mind getting out of the office and getting stuck in on-site.

Responsibilities

• Help keep restaurant projects moving from planning to opening day.
• Work with contractors, architects, designers and suppliers to align everyone.
• Coordinate equipment, furniture, millwork and other project needs.
• Attend site meetings and progress checks.
• Review plans and drawings to ensure important details are captured.
• Track budgets, invoices and changes to keep the project running smoothly.
• Assist with final inspections and getting the restaurant ready for opening.
• Spot potential issues early and help resolve them.

We’re working with a growing global restaurant brand that’s looking for a Junior Project Manager to help turn new restaurant locations from plans on paper into places people can actually walk into, eat in and enjoy.

You’ll get involved in a bit of everything, working with designers and contractors, keeping timelines moving, coordinating equipment and suppliers, and getting out on-site to see the projects come together.

What You’ll Do

• Help keep restaurant projects moving from the early planning stages right through to opening day
• Work with contractors, architects, designers and suppliers to make sure everyone is on the same page
• Help coordinate everything from kitchen equipment and furniture to millwork and other project needs
• Get involved in site meetings, walk-throughs and progress checks
• Review plans and drawings and make sure the important details don’t get missed
• Keep track of budgets, invoices, changes and all the little pieces that keep a project running smoothly
• Help with final inspections, punch lists and getting the restaurant ready for opening
• Spot potential issues early and jump in to help get things sorted

About You
