Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care, assess interventions for cardiopulmonary patients, and administer therapies such as medical gases, humidification, aerosols, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene, and ventilation support.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor care plans, document progress, and fulfill duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC accredited program required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC accredited program preferred.
  • Maryland State License required.
  • CPR Certification and BLS required.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • All credentials must be maintained with active status.
  • New grads are encouraged to apply.

Work Experience

Professional Background: Entry-level to advanced position with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable RCS division.

Salary Range

Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
