Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network seeks an on-site Adult Residential Facility Home Administrator in Bakersfield, CA to manage daily operations of residential homes and ensure high-quality supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Working with the Administrator, you will establish policies, supervise staff, and maintain CCR Title 17 compliance, while coordinating with regional centers, licensing agencies, and day programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing direct supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Administrator on daily house operations.
• Manage direct reports: coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance management; recruit and hire for vacancies.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures; confer with management and staff as needed.
• Maintain client files and a facility file per California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17.
• Submit quarterly progress reports per CCR Title 17, Chapter 3, Subchapter 4, §56026.
• Meet with agencies and service providers (Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, day programs) as needed.
• Determine staff requirements; interview, hire and train new employees.
• Participate in ID team meetings and communicate with family members.
• Obtain medical and dental evaluations and follow physician orders for consumers.
• Manage all financial costs of home(s) (supplies, utilities, labor).
• Recruit, train, and manage staff; prepare work schedules and assign duties.
• Perform other related duties as required.
