Job summary

NYWDS in New York City seeks an experienced Reprographics Operator for a long-term on-site contract with legal/financial services exposure. You will process printing requests, manage orders, and coordinate with the Graphics department to ensure fast, accurate delivery of documents.

Candidates must be proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat, operate Xerox copiers, and handle binding/finishing equipment. This role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and reliability under high

Qualifications

Experience in reprographics within legal or financial services is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
Ability to learn and understand volume capture software and manage tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Process printing requests (hard copy and electronic) and prepare orders for shipping.
Perform maintenance: change ink, load paper, clear jams and replace cartridges.
Operate binding/finishing equipment (binding, cutting, padding, etc.).
Use inserters, folders, paper cutters, spiral/velo-binding, stitching and drilling equipment.
Utilize Fiery equipment for high-volume color finishes with image adjustments.
Coordinate with Graphics department and monitor the request inbox and tickets.
Arrange off-site sending of requests when needed and ensure on-time delivery.
