Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Power team in a dynamic role focused on site coordination, schedule control, and quality oversight on renewable energy projects.

You will travel to project sites regularly, work with contractors, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. This role demands 5+ years of construction experience and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background with experience on renewable energy projects.
• Experience on PV Solar, BESS or Wind projects preferred.
• Experience with MV, Substations, T&D would be considered an asset.
• Construction experience of at least 5 years, able to rotate or travel regularly.
• Engineering degree or appropriately recognized technical designation would be considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities and ensure contractors meet obligations and project requirements.
• Monitor schedule and costs, report progress, and manage changes.
• Inspect construction for quality and conformance to design.
• Review submittals (shop drawings, RFIs) for design compliance.
• Document progress with daily/weekly reports and photos.
• Oversee procurement and acceptance of major equipment/materials.
