Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an entry-level Renewable Energy Technician to assist with wind turbine and photovoltaic system maintenance at an on-site site in Cabery, IL. You will learn maintenance, testing, and inspection tasks under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a growing renewables portfolio.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete safety and technical training for entry level technician.
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer knowledge.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet requirements to operate motor vehicles.
• Knowledge of electronics and mechanical components is a plus.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• In the field, assist with maintaining company property and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support a technician by servicing equipment, assisting with routine maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, and repair.
• Assist with testing electrical components and mechanical/hydraulic systems and collecting data for testing and analysis.
• Work safely, seek guidance when unsure, and attend required safety/technical training.
• Collaborate in a team environment and uphold EDF Core Values.
• Document completed jobs, process supply orders, and complete time tracking and paperwork for projects.
