Job summary

The AME Group is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows systems. You will provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring security and reliability.

Location includes Columbus and Bloomington with a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time employment, and immediate availability. 1+ year in IT support and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support or similar role required.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VPNs, switches and routers.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Document service activity in ticketing systems and knowledge bases.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and devices.
• Support cybersecurity practices including patch management.
