Job summary

The AME Group is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Windows-based systems. You will provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring security and peak performance across environments.

Responsibilities include diagnosing Windows desktops/servers, maintaining systems, addressing Active Directory/DNS/DHCP, and ensuring timely ticket resolutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT support or similar technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Perform routine maintenance including updates, patching, and system health checks.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolution to end-user issues.
• Install, configure, and deploy hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Document all service activity, solutions, and client interactions in the ticketing and documentation systems.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and devices.
• Support cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection and patch management.
