Job summary

TechBldrs, an Exton, PA-based technology consulting firm, seeks an IT Support Engineer for a full-time, in-person role serving clients across the Greater Philadelphia area.

The candidate will deliver on-site and remote support, troubleshoot workstations and servers, install Microsoft 365, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Travel and documenting work are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Live within a 40-minute commute of Exton, PA; work in person and travel to client sites.
• Proactive, able to identify and resolve issues independently.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 environments and Office applications.
• Hold a Windows certification, or earn one within 90 days.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to record all work time in our ticketing system.
• Have access to a personal car with insurance for client travel.
• Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients across the Greater Philadelphia region.
• Troubleshoot and independently resolve issues with workstations, servers, and peripherals.
• Install and configure Microsoft 365, desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, teammates, and management.
• Accurately track time spent on each task to support client billing.
• Produce clear documentation for both client-facing and internal use.
• Monitor service requests and push them through to timely completion.
• Lead short-term projects from initiation through closeout.
