Job summary

Phoenix House seeks a Recovery Support Specialist (Full-Time) at our Venice, CA location. The role runs Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am - 4:00pm and is on-site, AM shift, with a focus on supervising patients and delivering therapeutic services.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will ensure safety, document patient information, coordinate with clinical teams, and support adherence to program policies while upholding Phoenix House values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and AOD DHCS registration or AOD DHCS certification.
• Six months related experience.
• Valid California Driver's License, proof of insurance, safe driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient supervision in a safe, therapeutic setting.
• Promote appropriate treatment model; conduct interventions and provide support.
• Observe and document patient information and behaviors; coordinate with departments.
• Ensure adherence to daily program schedule and group services.
• Maintain documentation in electronic health records, logs, and charts.
• Supervise medication self-administration and inventory under nursing supervision.
• Transport patients to off-site appointments or activities.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings; uphold Phoenix House mission and values.
• Lead shift duties as assigned.
