FAMILY MEDICINE & WELLNESS CENTER P in Merrillville, IN is seeking a temporary QuickBooks Catch-Up Bookkeeper for a 40–60 hour on-site project to clean up and bring our financial records up to date for 2025 and 2026.

Your focus will be entering historical data, reconciling accounts, and preparing the QuickBooks Online file for hand-off to our external CPA, with on-site access to documents and flexible daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Solid bookkeeping skills including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and COGS.
• Familiarity with ADP payroll reports and recording them into a general ledger.
• Reliable and local to Merrillville, IN for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Coding: Input and match 5–10 customer invoices per month for 2025 and 2026 in QuickBooks Online.
• Accounts Payable Oversight: Review automated vendor payments and code to correct expense accounts without duplicates.
• Bank Reconciliation: Fully reconcile 2 business bank accounts month-by-month from Jan 2025 through Aug 2026.
• Payroll Log Entries: Record historical payroll journals from ADP into QuickBooks Online, mapping wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Accountant Hand-Off Prep: Identify discrepancies and ensure books are tidy for quarterly review.
