Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee QA programs and ensure compliance with customer specifications and audit requirements.

This salary-exempt role leads inspection activities, documents records, and guides staff in HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and related food safety initiatives to keep production in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 4 years related work experience with a minimum of 1 year in a leading role included in the 4 years related work experience.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Experience in a food processing organization preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee QA programs and policies to meet customer specifications and audits.
• Schedule staff and manage inspections; maintain records.
• Lead food safety programs including HACCP, SSOP, GMP and audits.
• Develop and maintain QA documentation and training.

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Animal Science/Poultry Science/Microbiology or related field
