Job summary

You will collect samples, manage data, report deviations, and work with R&D to keep finished product specs current. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or 2-year degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field or some college level Science courses.
• Working knowledge of laboratory procedures, HACCP principles and plant GMPs.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Gmail.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in plant analysis and facility audit of production/quality records.
• Collects samples for post process measurements and external analyses.
• Reports deviations to the Quality Manager.
• Inputs data into systems and creates reports; compiles and verifies data.
• Works with R&D to ensure Finished Product Specifications are up to date.
• Participates as a team member to support company objectives.
