Job summary

Brookfield Properties, LLC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Briggs + Union in Mount Laurel Township, NJ. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing, maintenance coordination, and ensuring regulatory compliance at the property.

You will interact with prospective residents, show properties, process applications, collect rents, and assist with vendor management while upholding Brookfield’s standards and Fair Housing policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Property Management or Accounting preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in Leasing, Bookkeeping, or Operations.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property needs.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations and administration.
• Show vacant and model suites; quote rental rates and promotions; manage leases.
• Process rent applications, collect funds, and handle security deposits.
• Prepare service orders and supervise on-site maintenance requests; ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor compliance with company policies.
