Job summary

Rose Associates in New York City is seeking a vibrant Resident Manager to oversee daily operations in our residential rental community. You will manage the building services team, ensure staff performance, and maintain resident satisfaction and financial success.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in maintenance and staff management, experience opening a new construction lease-up, and strong knowledge of building systems. On-site presence and on-call readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in maintenance and staff management.
• Experience opening a new construction/lease-up building.
• Proficient with building mechanical systems.
• Strong communication with staff and management.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and be on call 24 hours.
• Work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations.
• Prioritize tenant concerns and ensure timely maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and vendor management.
• Implement maintenance procedures and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in budget development and report variances.
• Respond to emergencies and supervise projects.
• Oversee staffing and on-site supervision.
• Move freely in building to address issues and meet with tenants.
• Maintain records including accidents/incidents.
• Ensure pets-friendly environment where required.
