Job summary

Rose Associates is hiring an Assistant Property Manager at Brooklyn Tower in Downtown Brooklyn. The role focuses on elevating the resident experience, coordinating daily operations, and supporting financial and lease administration for a premier multifamily community.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily leasing or property management, strong organizational skills, and a NY real estate license (or plan to obtain within 120 days).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily leasing and/or assistant property management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or related field preferred.
• NY real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the Resident Experience: address inquiries, resolve concerns, coordinate communications, and support resident satisfaction initiatives.
• Drive Property Operations: assist with daily building operations, inspections, move-ins/move-outs, lease administration, work orders, and property records.
• Support Financial Performance: assist with budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, rent collections, delinquency monitoring, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Coordinate Maintenance & Improvements: partner with teams, coordinate vendors, review estimates/contracts, support renovations and capital projects.
• Strengthen Leasing & Retention: conduct tours, manage lease/renewal docs, monitor market activity, support occupancy goals.
• Maintain Compliance & Safety: support lease enforcement, inspections, insurance, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: build relationships with residents, ownership, vendors, staff, and internal departments.
